Sorry those subs are definitely on fire. Uncontrolled oil burning on the surface of the water fire. Not a DC drill. I wish I knew Russian...I'd like to know what the Twitter Pirate Captain was saying about this "damage control drill." The Russians/Soviets have never been good with 1) Subs and 2) Being honest about their crappy subs.

LCDR (Join to see) The Russian Navy has never been honest with any Naval disaster or problem. That fire is about as likely a drill, as the Navy tripling my Retirement pay tomorrow!

CWO3 Dennis M. Especially on the Nuke side, they have always downplayed their incidents and refused to let us help in any search and rescue. Thank god for ADM Rickover he built a tight ship at NAVSEA 08 that lives on to this day.
