SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Freedom of Religion is Freedom of Religion, Not just Limited to Judeo-Christian, If the 10 Commandments are going to be displayed that opens that Venue to all other Faiths. The Only thing Missing at this Point is a Beautiful Crescent Moon for Our Muslim Shipmates and Comrades in Arms.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Most of the 10 Commandments displays that Magically Popped Up all over the Country in 1956 were a Advertising Gimmick for the Movie the 10 Commandments anyway.

Why is this taking religious freedom too far? If don't want your religious thoughts/wants/needs and rights of others to be impinged upon, then don't impinge on others. The state found it perfectly acceptable to put up the ten commandments. That opens them up to having to allow other religious organizations to put up their religious icons. The only group that won't put up a religious icon are the atheists. Although I think we atheists should put up several scientific equations and a few statutes of great scientific thinkers who rejected religion.

The great thing about freedom of religion is that it allows us to openly practice our faith. The not so great thing is that it allows others to do the same. Anything else is not freedom of religion.

If they are sincere in their devotion to Baphomet, (I have no reason to doubt their sincerity,) I support the worshippers of Baphomet in their efforts. If for no other reason, it means that I as a Christian, can still openly practice my faith.
