Thanks for letting us know SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that the Combat-Injured Veterans Tax Fairness Act of 2016 which is expected to be signed into law by the president in the coming days mandates the Department of Defense stop improperly taxing severance payouts for troops wounded in war zones, and requires Pentagon officials to identify any veterans whose benefits were improperly taxed.
This is a follow-on legislative effort in response to the deplorable conspiracy between the CA ARNG and the Pentagon to collect bonuses paid to CARNG soldiers who fulfilled their service contract obligation in deploying in support of OIF (and follow-on operations in Iraq) and OEF.
