Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that in the early days of the Cold War, the Soviet Union issues a terse statement denying any knowledge of British physicist Klaus Fuchs or his activities.
I am glad that Fuchs was found guilty of compromising the nuclear secrets of the British and US Nations and that he Fuchs implicated an American, Harry Gold, as someone who served as a courier between himself and Soviet agents. Then the weaknesses of the spy network were exploited so that "Gold fingered David Greenglass, who also worked on the Manhattan Project, and Greenglass informed on his brother-in-law and sister, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg."
I am glad that the spy network was rolled up, and imprisoned and Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were executed for their role and refusal to confess.

He was a dyed in the wool Commie even before the war. Surprised they let him work on the Manhatten project.
