Wow SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I forget who sang "Feelings" but I never liked that song. For the past few years there has been such a big push to allow women into every conceivable military combat position.
This survey results reminds me that far too many citizens of this nation are clamoring for rights instead of doing their best to fulfill their responsibilities.
I don't support sexual harassment in any case.

LTC Stephen F. roger that my friend on the song, it is becoming quite interesting on the emotional aspect per se'. Well said and profoundly stated!

I agree with them. When you have all these "SuperVets", "SuperStuds" and the ONE E6 former Drill SGT who whined about not making 7 piling on the BS that women are lesser than the men, why not bring your mom, and I'll bring mine, and let's compare resumes and accomplishments. I'll win hands down. Women are not backseat Soldiers, MWR when deployed (If you know what I mean), a punching bag when you get upset, or when you finally have fucked up enough to where your career is over, and you need a shoulder to cry on, find someone else to cry to. She's had enough being "second string", and apparently the Army has had enough of you trying to play "first team". There are some crappy female Soldiers, and there a lot MORE good ones. I've been on the receiving end of an Alpha Charlie and getting one from a woman was was the worst. If a woman decides to take a chance in the Army in ANY MOS she wants, we owe it to her, AND them to make sure they have every tool to succeed. And no not giving them a "tool" bag with a figure it out note is unacceptable. If you have no problem serving with women in garrison, there should be no difference in a deployed zone. Same woman, took the same training as you.Apparently you cannot lead, so maybe you should let her lead and you get the hell out of her way. You don't hear her whining about you do ya?

SSG Warren Swan great read and share, my goodness you nailed it with a SLEDGE HAMMER. Very conversed and to the point response. Thanks for your input, it makes a lot of sense to me.

I don't think most of the comments listed address the article (and I'd bet some only read the headline). The report lists challenges to female servicemembers (things like access to mental healthcare, connecting to other female vets, providing for their families) and also shows a disconnect between the media's view of women in service (media too focused on Sexual Harassment and Assault) and the reality of many women serving in uniform daily.
As a leader, I don't expect everyone to be just like me. If I need to shape resources or energy to help a group of my Soldiers, that's what I'll do. End of the day, it makes my organization and unit stronger and helps us accomplish the mission.

LTC (Join to see) Yes, not a very good headline for the article, basically a click bait headline.
