Syrian downing of F-16I begs question: Why didn’t Israel deploy F-35s?

They shot down one F-16 and that's evidence that Israel must scrape the entire fleet? Seriously?

LCDR (Join to see) As you know, not all pilots are created equal. Perhaps this pilot was fairly new to his/her wings and was not as battle hardened as some of the other fighter pilots in the squadron and was sent out thinking this was going to be an easy sortie and a good chance to get him some combat experience? In the article, they did hint at the fact that they have sent many F-16's into Syria and it has been a long time since they had one shot down....soooooo?

LCDR (Join to see) Israel is Known to use some Particular Odd Mixes. If I had to Guess, A Little OPDEC Lot of Countries Operate the F-16 not many use the F-35.
