Maybe the Soldier could have ducked the brick if they weren't wearing a shitty storm trooper wanna be helmet. "Let's make the helmet lighter...so we can put this on their face."
I swear the Army wont be happy until we are all walking around in bomb suits.

it looks like an oversized, uncomfortable motorcycle helmet. I’m glad it worked out for this guy in this situation, but this helmet looks miserable to wear.

SGT (Join to see) I have the helmet, withoutbthe face mask. It's not bad to wear, but it's only ounces lighter than the ECH. They jeep saying they are spending a bunch of money to make gear lighter, but it's all so they can issue us more shit to carry.

MSG (Join to see) - no arguments here. My helmet days are over, so I’m not sure how it will work. Is the face mask going to be optional wear, even if issued? Kinda like the groin and deltoid pads on an IOTV? I wore those zero times.

SGT (Join to see) I wasnt issued the face mask, but wear would depend on the commander and his/her/its risk reduction/ force protection plan.
