Thank you, my friend SGT (Join to see) for posting the music video of The Beatles performing Get Back [alternate version]
"The song is credited to "The Beatles with Billy Preston". Billy Preston played piano and was invited to the recording session by George Harrison to ease the tension between The Beatles' members. It helped them focus despite personal conflicts.
The song was the first single by The Beatles to be released in true stereo in the USA."
"Get Back" written by John Winston Lennon and Paul James McCartney
"Jo Jo was a man who thought he was a loner
But he knew it couldn't last
Jo Jo left his home in Tucson, Arizona
For some California grass
Get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back Jo Jo
Go home
Get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back, get back
Back to where you once belonged
Get back, Jo
Sweet Loretta Martin thought she was a woman
But she was another man
All the girls around her say she's got it coming
But she gets it while she can
Oh, get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back, Loretta
Go home
Oh, get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back
Woo...
(Thanks, Mo!
I'd like to say "thank you" on behalf of the group
And ourselves and I hope we passed the audition!)"

GET BACK is a excellent Beatles recording with Billy Preston. I had been in Germany a little over a month when the 45 record went to number 1 on the chart. One of the few Beatles' 45's I bought. I remember watching the video of the Beatles performing GET BACK on a roof top in England which the police broke up because of the crowd in the street below.
