Thanks for sharing SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. Total war tends to be the only way to win a war. It worked in the Ancient days through the Crusades and in the Norman Conquest as well as in the US Civil War in the west under U.S. Grant and the southeast under William T. Sherman as well as WWII. When we abandoned total war we started losing wars.
