The Colonel's Motivational/Inspirational Quotes amd Message of the Day!
I like this quote because so often as a warrior the greatest foe we face is ourselves. Our own fears, our lack of belief, impatience, and other negative emotions we inflict on ourselves are what keep us from performing at our best. To be true warriors we first have to conquor ourselves. What is your warrior strength and what is your weakness?

“Never lose that ‘Warrior Spirit’ – it will remain with you until they fold your flag brothers and sisters. There may tough days ahead, but you will call upon that ‘Warrior Spirit’ to pick you back up and keep your internal flame burning and that reminds me of this quote…
‘Being a warrior is an attitude!’ — Santosh Kumar
May you always be a ‘Warrior for Life’ and may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Warriors never give up.” – COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I lift the grieving widows, widowers, orphans, and others grieving loss to YOU tonight dear LORD. I pray that You bless each with a peaceful night and calm dreams. LORD I pray that YOU motivate trustworthy comforters who are great listeners to help the grieving over the coming weeks and months. 'Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts; his name is the LORD; exult before him! Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.' [Psalm 68:4-5 ESV]
I pray for a peaceful and secure night for the deployed military service warriors, police men and women, sheriff’s deputies and federal and state agents who are military warriors who fight for this nation, defend this nation and /or are prepared by experience and training to fight for this nation if called to do. I pray for comfort and peace their family members who are at home and pleasant dreams – especially for the children ‘Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth.’ [Psalm 127:3-4 ESV]
As a prayer warrior by God’s grace, I pray for a sufficient self-control and patience for each adopted son and daughter of God who reads this prayer or hears it. LORD I pray that YOU use YOUR prayer warriors to intercede for the people of this nation, the neighborhoods and the spiritual health of this nation. ‘But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.’ [1 Peter 2:9-10 ESV]
Since many of us are military veteran warriors, who fought for this nation, defended this nation and /or were prepared by experience and training to fight for this nation if called to do. remember the admonition of the LORD ‘Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.’ [Ephesians 6:10-12 ESV]
‘Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.’ Ephesians 6:13-18 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Saturday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Sunday morning.
