I pray that you and I will always be content and yet hopeful in whatever situation and circumstances we are in including our health and the health of those we love. I expect you recognize that God is working all for good during these challenging times. I expect that you have experienced the peace of God in challenging times more than once. No doubt you have learned to care and have compassion without worrying. ‘The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.’ [Philippians 5b-7 ESV] my brother-in-Christ SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.

LORD I pray that YOU empower each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer or hears it to be ambassadors for peace in these challenging times. Empower each of us with compassion, humility, and brotherly love. 'Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but enjoy the company of the lowly. Do not be conceited.'[ Romans 12:15-16 ESV]
I pray that each adopted son and daughters of God demonstrates thanks throughout the year and that we are gracious in thanking others; gracious tippers for service rendered; helpful to those less fortunate than we are, and willing and able to assist those in need around us. ‘give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. [1 Thessalonians 5:18 ESV]
I pray for peace and comfort for each one grieving tonight including widows, widowers, spouses and children of those missing in action, divorcees, the homeless, the outcasts of society dear LORD. I pray that YOU punctuate their grief with joy in YOUR perfect timing. I thank YOU for raising good listeners to come alongside and meet them at their needs for human companionship. I pray that YOU bless the family members of MIA with a large measure of peace and joy as they wait for news about their MIA loved one and closure. Enable them to lean on YOU as they grieve while waiting for a knock on the door. I pray that YOU guide those searching for remains to remains of MIA to find, identify and recover the remains and effects in YOUR perfect timing. 'Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight'. [Romans 12:15-16 ESV]
lift those who train horses, ponies and elephants overseas to aid the disabled and those who train animals to sooth the tormented veterans and service members afflicted with PTSD and TBI including to YOU LORD. By YOUR grace YOU guide the mind of each trainer, volunteer, and veterinarian and YOU bless the hands of each to help the equine and similar animal trainers including alpacas. I pray that YOU protect these animals from being abused by thugs as well as rustlers and horse thieves. ‘Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. [Colossians 3:12-14 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members slept well Wednesday night and will awoke refreshed and healthy on Thursday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.
