Great thoughts today. This is something that has disappeared in our electronic world. Email the office two doors down, everyone has a phone at at dinner, and our younger generation has a hard time interacting face to face. More world problem solving happens with solid conversations. Happy Thursday Col

Face-to-face conversation is the very best, especially when you're meeting for the first time or talking on the phone about something important or just catching up with a friend. I like the face-to-face because then you get all of the communication, speaking, listening, body language, fascial expressions, tone, etc... Have a great day Maj Marty Hogan Walk down the hall today and have some great healthy conversations at work.

I pray that you and I are great listeners, truthful and use good sense in conversation, my friend and brother-in-Christ Maj Marty Hogan.
LORD I pray YOU transform the heart of each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters to be more sensitive to YOUR Holy Spirit.
LORD YOU have always had perfect communication. YOUR Word tells us that we are created in YOUR image. I pray that we will each be better and more open in nonverbal and verbal communication within our family and friends and work and play
Enable YOUR people to be the example for good communication across political, faith socioeconomic and every other divide. Show us dear God specifically how to best reach our neighbors for YOU tell us to love our neighbor.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good morning COL Mikel J. Burroughs Truly good conversations are rare now. Much like an endangered species they seem to be hiding from most of us. We either are dealing with people who use too many words to say too little or they are too busy with their electronic devices to pay attention, to what if anything is coming out of their mouths. They are certainly too busy to listen to anyone's response. Truly good conversations are something to be treasured and replayed. As the quote says, the good conversation stimulates something in both people participating in it.
Do you have good conversations? Or are you just speaking to be heard and not listening? Pick someone and practice; like other skills, this one improves with use.

How did I just know you'd use that quote? Agree, good conversations have become a lost art.

Good Morning COL. "Conversation Day" .....
Truly a good conversation starts with both people being able to listen before responses are made....otherwise they are just talking at each other so I have to agree with Jack on this one:
"The art of conversation is the art of hearing as well as of being heard." — William Hazlitt
Be a good listener and you will have stimulating conversations....
Enjoy your Thursday, P/T for me today....
