Good morning Col Burroughs. Hope all is well in the Eagle's nest. Too many people don't take care of their tools until they need them; then it is too late and the job isn't well done. It does not matter if you are talking about physical (your body), mental or actual tools. If you don't care for things including yourself, they will not serve you well. We had this discussion last night in the workshop about self care; you cannot help someone else if you need help yourself. What are you doing to care for your tools?

I hope that your leadership tools include your knowledge of the Bible, your relations with God, wisdom, compassion, and a strong sense of justice. I expect that you lead as a servant leader focused on serving those you lead as you progress in finding and applying solutions to the objectives facing you. No doubt you are aware that ‘The greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.’ {Matthew 23: 11-12 ESV] Charlie.
I pray you that I routinely submit our plans to the LORD and follow HIS lead. LORD I pray YOU open our eyes to see what we need to see and open our ears to hear what we need to hear. Empower and enable each of us to lead through service in these challenging times, my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown .

I lift each one of YOUR adopted children who are leaders and/or managers to YOU including chief executives, parents, and work supervisors. I pray LORD that each one of us seeks to be an honorable and trustworthy individual in word and deed. Help us to use the tools that are effective and efficient and give us wisdom to apply the tools and teach others by example and instruction for the good.
I pray LORD that YOU illuminate what needs to be done for each of the elected leaders, legislators, appointed officials, and judges who are your adopted sons and daughters throughout the USA, [as well as Australia, Canada, Mexico, India, Europe, Africa, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Central and South America]. I pray that YOU guide the mind of each to both use and develop tools for others to use as they make decisions which affect their constituents. I pray that they each seek wisdom and that YOU fulfill that desire promptly.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and your loved ones sleep well Tuesday night and will awake healthy on Wednesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Great share and quotes for today's message Maj Robert Thornton - thanks brother. Have a great Tuesday Robert and let me leave you with this final thought for today:

“May you always put the tools of knowledge and leadership to the best possible use as you provide guidance, confidence, and courage to those who follow; may you always have a positive attitude and outlook on life as you put those tools to work for the benefit of others; may you take the best possible care of yourself, so you can use those tools to the best of your ability; may you keep your family safe, secure and healthy during these uncertain times. Keep your Leadership toolbox handy and ready to deploy at all times!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good morning Mikel and my friends on RallyPoint! I use the metaphor of a toolbox with my students who do not being supplies to class. I often tell them that a worker cannot do his work if he/she leaves the toolbox at home. If you don't do the job, you don't get paid. Their job is to learn, and they get paid in knowledge. Have a great day!
