Good morning Col Burroughs. It is amazing what people will do for praise from those whose opinion they value. It is important to remember though that to be effective praise must be appropriate and directed; the praise sprinkled out over a group without thought is actually counter productive. That's one of the first things I learned while watching squadron commanders before I took command of my own squadron. It's easier but far less effective than taking the time to make it personal to those who truly deserve it.

This may sound crazy to some, U also Praise the bad.
HIS Word says praise His name for everything. Never does it say Praise just the good. Praise everything. Praise the bad, praise the flat you have this morning. U didn't get it during rush hour; U didn't get it at night where U had to fix it in the dark; U didn't wreck UR vehicle....
These are negatives where positives are right there hidden in the negative
We just have to Praise the Lord to be able to see it. (2 B able 2 C it).
