Thank you, John, I noticed the Lieutenant Colonel board has results from April but released in July. I went on active duty in April for 52 days so that means I'm going to get a freaking large later. Just in time, because I'm paying for my family to fly down here, being a hotel and go to Disneyland in Anaheim. That is not cheap anymore! This is what I promised them if I made the promotion list. The seven and 11 year old daughters are very excited but they also realize what it means to be promoted. It's not just about Disneyland to them. I'm going to have them help with the changing of the ranks as well. Good thing the ranks are pin on and velcro nowadays. LOL

I had never heard about how it affects men but maybe there's something to it.

Probably no more so than trucking is a young man's job. If you can pass requirements and do the work why not keep doing it as long as you can?

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - I have always heard that the body can only tolerate the high g forces experienced by fighter pilots for so long that's all.
In trucking its more of an organic allergy.
The individual can only tolerate the bullshit for so long until an allergy begins to get in the way.

I think the organic allergy applies to flyers as well, plus there are g suits that take care of g forces; it's not like you are constantly pulling them.
