U.S.: Mosul talk helps civilians, encourages defectors

I am not surprised that the USA administration spokespeople are stating that advanced warning about the the operation to retake Mosul, Iraq gives civilians hope they will soon be liberated and encourages defections of extremist fighters SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.
Unfortunately it allows ISIS and their allies to prepare in infiltrating fighters and ex-filtrating critical assets and capabilities.

Wonder why we didn't think of those considerations during WWII, the last war we won decisively. This from a senior military leader? If the average citizen of Aleppo hasn't gotten the word by now, telling them and the basket of bad guys who are preparing the battlefield for our arrival will not change anything, but our casualties.
