Thanks for sharing SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. Being killed whil descending is not a heart-warming thought.
To be honest the thought of a failed parachute plus a failed reserve is not comforting in any way either :-)

Was at Ft. Bragg when they tested the new chutes in the late 70s. C130 came in low and slow. Problem was it was to low. Lot of ambulances and medics needed. No one died but a lot of injuries.
