Yes indeed, genuine prayer involves listening to what our LORD is telling us as well as petitioning HIM.
HE knows our desires whether we vocalize them or not.
Many believers have a spiritual language which the LORD has blessed us with to intercede often on behalf of others in a tongue we do not understand.
It is wise to praise and thank God in a prayerful attitude which can be maintained throughout the day.
Praise the LORD and glory to HIS Name.
