MLB Moves All-Star Game to Denver

An ironic, hypocritical move as Colorado has voting laws similar to Georgia (Twitter). And MLB has now moved the game from a mostly black city to a mostly white city (Daily Caller). From David Martosko: Has anyone at MLB looked at Colorado’s voting laws? This is going to be a giant own-goal (Twitter). A poll shows more Americans support the Georgia law than do not, even though 23 percent admit they’ve heard nothing about it (Morning Consult). From David Harsanyi: Imagine what these numbers look like if there weren’t lying about it 24-7 (Twitter). From Dan McLaughlin: MLB caves to the angry 36% (Twitter).

Biden was ‘not dictating’ MLB: Jen Psaki tries to explain Joe’s ‘support’ for move
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki shifted into recovery mode trying to distance President Joe Biden from the Major League Baseball decision to pull the All-Star game from Atlanta in response to a new law in Georgia.
Last week President Biden was asked on ESPN what he thought about the possibility baseball decides to move its All-Star game from Atlanta because of Georgia’s law.

Colorado votes 100% by mail, how is that remotely similar to Georgia?

Exactly. With republicans crying massive voter fraud, ya think that would be one place you'd see it. I wonder also with Coca-Cola's HQ being in ATL, they gonna move?

I believe you're missing some major factors in CO's vote by mail system. Namely voter ID which is required to register. Signature verification on mail-in ballots is required. The entire GA blow up is the VOTER ID question. Edit: Moving to CO that requires a voter id to register when GA is trying to ensure voter integrity with voter ID laws is hypocritical of the MLB and any other business which may require ID for their services.

"Colorado does require some form of ID when voters register for the first time and whenever they vote in person. But the state accepts 16 different forms of identification. The options include common identification cards like a driver's license, U.S. passport or government employee ID — but Colorado also accepts Medicare and Medicaid cards, college IDs, utility bills, bank statements and paychecks.

Colorado does not require identification for mail voting once a person is registered. Instead, the state mails a ballot to the person's home, and then matches their signature against a database when the ballot is returned."
