My darling wife and I are experiencing being home alone together with three aging and large dogs and her mom who is increasingly showing signs of dementia. One son is vacationing in Florida and the other is attending the funeral for my ex-mother-in-law. We will be taking care of the three dogs until Thursday evening when the youngest son flies back from Georgia.
1. I spoke with my daughter-in-law this afternoon for some time. She has faith in God. She is married to my imprisoned 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment veteran son
2. Today the VAMC called three times about medical appointments. Yesterday my blood pressure was low [104/66] this afternoon it was back up slightly 110/78.
3. On Thursday night I took my wife to Brio's Tuscan Grill at Fair Oak Mall in Fairfax, VA. We enjoyed a very nice meal - I had Gorgonzola Crusted Beef Medallions and my darling wife had a lasagna. They had an excellent bread with lightly salted butter- we had three of that wonderful bread servings. I was pleased to learn that there is a 20% discount for military there.

That's good to know. When I shop anywhere, I always inquire about them having military
discounts. Many places offer this discount,but don't advertise it! A closed mouth
