Good morning Rally Point. Well, we had people out here working on the house yesterday, only to discover that there is an enormous hornets' nest up on the side of the chimney we can't see from the ground. They got chased off by a swarm of them. They emptied 3 cans of poison into the nest and it didn't make a dent. So today, the pest control person is coming out to evaluate it and figure out how to remove it. Not a job I would want. In the meantime, I am procaffinating and waiting for the call saying he is on the way. I need to be prepping for the next workshop; we have one later in the week. Yesterday's went well and the word is spreading.
Temperature is 52 degrees, prediction says low 80s later today with lots of sunshine. Rain expected tomorrow and Friday.

Good morning Lt Col Charlie Brown I need to follow kitty's lead with cocoa. I, also, am doing fall chores. 12 yards of hardwood mulch will be arriving in October. My son took no paid vacation for family obligations to help me get this done.i need to pay him a week's vacation. Good resolution with the hornet's.

Appreciate it. Then the guys need to come back and finish up on the gutters...that's what set it all off in the first place.

so far I haven't seen hornets this year but the yellow jacket{ wasps} are starting to be a pain in the butt. Tempo works well to get rid of them but keep your distance
