Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse on this beautiful Saturday morning. . If there is one thing that is constant in life, it is change. Things can "turn around" in an instant. Storms from clear skies, people changing their views, an event that wasn't there just a moment ago.
In counseling we talk about turn arounds in attitude coming due to Significant Emotional Events (SEEs) Something happens that shakes us up and makes us look at life or our behavior in a different way and we are ready to make a change and turn things around. We've all had those moments in our lives. What made you turn things around and go in a different direction?

I pray that you and I are working to improve our own behavior since that is what we have most influence on. I expect that you are able to improve situations among friend and family based on their respect for you as a selfless and mature leader. ‘Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. I lift estranged family members & friends, ostracized family members and friends, and all other adopted sons and daughters of YOURs who are at odds with other people to YOU. I pray for an increase of grace and humility to help bring reconciliation to family members and friends who have stayed apart for too long. I pray for conviction, confession, forgiveness and repentance for each estranged person and abundant joy as relationships are reborn. 'The end of a matter is better than its beginning; Patience of spirit is better than haughtiness of spirit.' [Ecclesiastes 7:8 ESV]
I pray for each parent, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, cousin, friend who has been earnestly praying for the salvation of a loved one LORD. As Easter is the celebration of YOUR resurrection by YOUR power, I pray that YOU bless many of those earnestly praying by making it clear what YOUR answer to the prayer is. I pray that YOU reveal YOUR will on this point in YOUR perfect timing. ‘The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.' [James 5:16b-18 ESV]
LORD I lift the trustworthy and conscientious leaders in government, military, business, & industry; managers, and anybody else who interacts with large numbers of people in-person or virtually to YOU. I pray that YOU bless each with knowledge and skill to resolve problems between plans and execution, timelines impacted by resources, and corruption including bribes. Give them eyes to see the corruption and other obstacles to improving operations. ‘But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. [Matthew 13:16-17 ESV]
I pray that each of us take to heart YOUR admonition ‘and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
