I expect you are aware that the Holy Spirit is sanctifying your soul into a perfect reflection of the Christ since we are destined to be included in HIS bride at the marriage feast of the Lamb. That will be more wonderful than we can possibly imagine. Hopefully, those friends and family members who have already died knew the LORD when they died. God is the only absolutely righteous Judge. ‘that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead. [Philippians 3:10-11 ESV] Mikel
I pray you that I are spiritually mature enough rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn in freedom without guile or posturing. ‘Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.’ [Romans 12:15-16 ESV], my brother-in-Christ COL Mikel J. Burroughs.

I pray for grieving and mourning adopted sons and daughters of God. Thank YOU, LORD for YOUR perfect justice, judgement, love, and compassion. The times of each man and woman, boy and girl are entirely within YOUR control. Thank You LORD for preparing each one of YOUR adopted children for trials and testing as YOU lead us through the valley of the shadow death periodically. You bring to our memory how YOU delivered us in the past through calamity. You are the Comforter of the widow, the widower, the orphan who are near and dear to YOUR heart.
I pray that YOUR adopted children who are parents of school-age children are wise and discerning about the health, safety, and education of each child of theirs. I pray LORD that YOU are opening doors for employment for the parents in need of work. I pray LORD that most school districts in this nation, in India, in Australia and many other nations will be open to educate children inside the building safely for the schoolchildren, teachers and school staff. I pray for wisdom for the administrators and elected officials in each school district.
I pray that the medical researchers and individuals going through trials are wise, knowledgeable, and attuned to effects and side effects of the SARS- CoV-2 vaccines going through developmental trials. I pray that significant progress is being made to develop a range of safe and effective vaccines and treatment.
LORD I pray that you take the LORD’s admonishment, on the resection of the dead, to heart:
a. ‘Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead. [Philippians 3:8-11 ESV]
b. ‘Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied. But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.' 1 [Corinthians 15:12,19-20 ESV]
I lift each of the elected leaders, legislators, appointed officials, and judges throughout the USA, [as well as Australia, Canada, Mexico, India, Europe, Africa, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Central and South America] to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU bless each one of them with discernment to recognize the good and the bad and prompt them to do good for their constituents.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and your loved ones sleep well Sunday night and will awake healthy on Monday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good morning Col Burroughs. This topic immediately brings this one to mind
https://youtu.be/Nnu1E5Kslig
All of us have lost people who have found their way to heaven. I do believe we will see them again. I do sometimes think about the fact that we say "lost" for those who died as if they were the ones who don't know where they are...when in fact we are the ones who tend to be "lost" without them.

COL Mikel Burroughs good read/share: for the Colonel's Motivational Quotes of the Day. Where the mighty American Bald Eagles roam in the mighty ROCKY MOUNTAINS OF CASTLE ROCK, COLORADO AMONG THIER EAGLES-NEST. I know the view must be MAGNIFICIENT on this day August 2, 2020 as you might glance upon the mighty snow capped mountains headed into the month of September. As you know I would respond a lot throughout the week, but I am full-time DOD employee doing contracts for the Defense Contracting Management Agency. It is good to have some time on the weekend before I start my running around to respond my friend.

Today's theme is “Heaven Day!” with a dedication to SPC Diana D. husband.
I quote, “Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours thought and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.” — Eskimo Proverb

Thanks for sharing the great quote today SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL - have a blessed day my friend and remember this Joe:

"May you enjoy everything that this world has to offer today and in all the days to come, but remember there is still a life in heaven that awaits us all; may you be positive each day and your outlook on life be filled with inspiration; may you take the best possible care of yourself each day; and keep safe, secure, happy, and healthy while we are here on earth in this moment. Heaven is only a step away, so make life here on earth your heaven today! — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
