I don't know - seems more like a meme to me. Multiple identical headlines, pushing the same assumptions. If you'd have been in church on Sunday, most likely you WOULD have heard the violence condemned. I did.

The Nazis, the KKK, and white supremacists are repulsive and evil, and all of us have a moral obligation to speak out against the lies, bigotry, anti-Semitism, and hatred that they propagate. Having watched the horrifying video of the car deliberately crashing into a crowd of protesters, I urge the Department of Justice to immediately investigate and prosecute this grotesque act of domestic terrorism.
These bigots want to tear our country apart, but they will fail.
America is far better than this. Our Nation was built on fundamental truths, none more central than the proposition ‘that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness."

Wow, that is an over-the -top title PO1 Tony Holland . Just because the media and the radical left is concerned about the events in Charlottesville does not mean that Pastors or teachers should change their sermons or refocus them. Those who are genuine Christians will be guided by God, as I am on a daily basis.
Certainly the liberal pastors and teachers will no doubt preach against violence. That is their right.
Many of those same liberals are in favor of government funded induced abortion - which is violence against the those unable to defend themselves at all.

LTC Stephen F. - when Muslim violence hits, one of the first things mentioned by the Christian right is that other Muslim voices don't condemn the violence.
Exactly how is this any different?
Why couldn't you just condemn the Christian Alt-Right, the Christian KKK, and the Christian White Supremacy movements? Wouldn't that have been more appropriate than making an apologetic for why these groups weren't being condemned by Christians?

Capt Dwayne Conyers - well God guides me on a daily basis and HE takes me to places I never expected.
Last week we learned of a single mother who went off the road with one of her children and drowned - bodies discovered a few days later after decomposition. Only the family and rescue workers seem to care.
I have no idea what your faith is in. I fought God for 30 years and I drank the Kool-Aid and supported euthanasia, induced abortion, summary killings, etc.
Then in September 1987 God changed my heart and over time HE has changed me and opened my eyes.
Murder is murder and that happens hundreds of times a day in this nation, unfortunately.
My 'rant" was focused on the church which includes a wide variety of folks from those who sincerely believe in God to those who are warming pews for the time being. The Liberal churches are focused on social "gospels" and views the Bible through those lenses. Many mainline denominations abandoned the Gospel because they found some teachings abhorrent.
