Do you see a double standard in how this administration is treated on the Corona Virus response compared to last year?

Canada banned flights from India and Pakistan last week. The USA is doing the same thing now. In this instance, the USA took longer to stop flights from India and Pakistan. Canada did it on April 22nd. The USA announced it yesterday April 30th. If Trump were to stilll be in Office, he would be blamed for waiting a week compared to his peers like Canada.
The USA banned many flights from China on the 31st of January,2020 and Canada stopped on the 1st of Feb 2020. Trump was called a Racist. Nancy Pelsoi and Chinese Democrats were livid through the USA. The USA banned international flights on the 12th of March, 2020. Canada closed its air corridors on the 20th of March, 2020.
The Biden Administration took an extra week, why? I do not see the media saying much about this. I live in Canada and my Pakistani and Indian Employees are livid they cannot travel to see their families back home.

Since I could only choose one answer I picked Double Standard for the mainstream media my friend LTC (Join to see).
When I create survey questions I try to add other which can be a combination or none of the above.
My second choice would be Different Governments do not make decisions at the same time.
I concur with my friend LTC David Brown "Operation Warp Speed got 3 vaccines developed in less than a year and had already started a program giving vaccinations yet Trump gets little credit.

Maybe this administration is getting the benefit of the doubt from the media because it is taking the pandemic threat seriously (and the previous one wasn't). This administration isn't calling it a hoax, or saying it will be gone within weeks, or refusing to wear masks, or downplaying its lethality, etc.

Yup he’s doing a good job (sarcasm if you missed it). The President has put Andrew Cuomo in charge to lead the calls as chairman of the National Governors Association. Also the President nor the VP have ever dialed into any of those weekly COVID-19 coordinating calls with the nation’s governors since they came into office. Of course HW Press Secretary Jen Psaki explained that the New York governor was put in charge instead of the vice president because a change was needed. Biden even stated Cuomo has been the gold standard in the fight against COVID-19. I think we are in deep dodo regardless of who’s captaining the ship.

Trump deserves little credit because Operation Warp Speed included both vaccine development and distribution. Instead of creating a national plan, Trump left everything to state governments and allowed chaotic conditions to fester for logistics. Biden administration actually organized in order to ensure proper federal support for medical coordination
