How much of the President's budget proposal do you think will get approved by Congress?

I think people are overlooking the fact this is at present a proposal and nothing more. How likely is it that Congress will approve the entire plan or any portions of it? Do you agree with the proposal?

The President submits a wish list and plans to run the government for another year. It is the Congress that must take his recommendations and make changes and additions, then pass the budget for the President to sign. Most budgets never get approved because the parties rarely agree. In 2015, the GOP lead Congress passed the first budget in six years without a single Democratic vote in favor. It demonstrates why the budget does not work and great reforms needed to account for the money received and spent within the means of the government to operate.
With almost 20 trillion debt, we better start cutting government spending, reduce the size of government, control entitlements, and run this country as a business that uses revenue for growth and not pork barrel projects adding billions a year to the debt.

I doubt that there was ever a presidents proposed budget that didn't see wide reaching modifications. We will see what happens when Congress, who controls the purse strings do their thing. The focus is on many of the problem areas, but politicians tend to look after their flock.

There is so much concern with Trump. Never has a President been so examined. On sure others have had various things looked at but not to the level of Trump. Congress will do to his budget the same as they have with every other budget. They will debate and fight and argue... The government will come close to shutting down and in the end nothing will change...

Every President has been scrutinized as much if not more than Trump. Good grief people were upset JFK was Catholic and thought a Catholic POTUS would be controlled by the Vatican.
I saw quite a lot of scrutiny the last 8 years and much scrutiny with W. Bush.
