What did you think about President Trump's SOTU address? I loved it. I thought he was well spoken and truthful, and also hit the points he needed too. PFC (Join to see) SFC Joe S. I think that President Donald Trump nailed the major issues in his State of the Union Address SSG(P) (Join to see).
I appreciated very much what he stated about Prison Reform, the New York abortion law which is despicable IMHO; International Affairs with North Korea, The Middle east, Afghanistan, Iran; Immigration reform, Border Wall requirements;
I also appreciated his comments on the guests, WWII veterans of D-day, Operation overlord; holocaust survivor [aged 6 at the time] who also survived the anti-Semitic attack in the synagogue in Pittsburgh who was seated next to the WWII army veteran who was on of those who liberated Dachau and stopped the train that the was taking Dachau prisoners to their deaths. The daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter of the elderly couple who were killed by an illegal alien; The Pittsburgh officer who was shot nine times and yet took out the shooter in the attack on the Pittsburgh synagogue.
The 10 year old girl dealing with treatment for brain cancer. Since she was 4 years old she worked to convince her friend and their families to donate to Saint Judes Hospital.
It was wonderful when all there sand happy birthday to the 80 year old holocaust survive whose birthday was February 5.
It was interesting that the radicalized democrat congress women were wearing white. :-)

I missed much of the first half of the speech but I did hear president put down the evil Iranians. Those Iranians are going to have a very sore Papa over this. I also was and pleased to hear the POTUS describe the Iranian regime as wanting to annihilate Israel. I'm sure people from the green party, in both Canada and the USA, and the extremist divest from Israel faction left of the Democrats were probably upset that the president wasn't afraid to spell this out. I was happy he brought us the survivors of the Holocaust and of the massacre recently by white supremacist against Jews. It's sad that the KKK with the jerk David Duke and the Iranian regime both share in the hate of Jews and the notion that the Holocaust was made up. I don't ever remember them singing happy birthday and Congress to anyone before. I'm glad they honored the World War II veteran as well as the police officer who tried to stop the white supremacist Massacre at the synagogue. That's okay, let them female Democrats dress in white.

I must be honest- I did not view it because I knew he faced an uphill battle. I will continue to support him, but he could give a speech in the sun and talk about the beautiful weather and the far side would state that it was caused by global warming and he paid a foreign nation to help with the weather. Success from a non-politician makes the old guard nervous....do we really need them? In the same token- we keep putting them there. Odd circle of life there.
