My question is based on daily medications we are prescribed and perhaps miss on some days. I want to know what you all do as far as when you realize you missed the dose and the time of day it is when you realize it.

Maybe someone can tell us here which medicines don't work like that? I feel that's okay the way I voted.
I voted to take it at that moment you remembered skipping then take it again when you are supposed to.
If you are taking the 2nd dosage in an hour, then I would not take 2 dosages.

I have notes in my dorm room to remind me to take them but sometimes I am in a rush and forget. I take them when I remember and then take them on schedule the next day.

Put an alarm on your phone OR get a watch and set an alarm on the watch.

TSgt Joe C. what you do depends on the type of medication. I would have selected multiple if that were an option. Some medications such as analgesics may well be okay to take as soon as you remember and then adjust when you take does the rest of the day.
Blood pressure medications and diabetic medications need to be followed carefully. I have taken double doses of beta blockers [accidentally] and other blood pressure medications on purpose once with significant negative results.
Generally for strong antibiotics if you miss a dose and you recognize it about half way between does it is best to wait and take your next dose.
All serious medications have instructions on what to do in this case. If in doubt ask a pharmacist after ensure you let them know what other medications and supplements you are taking, if they don't know.

My medicines have instruction on missed doses but usually the ones with a time set to take it and only one dose per day I have to just skip that dose and take it at the right time next day. Fortunately it does not happen very often for me to miss that dose.
