Where is my FEDREC Scroll in the DOD Process?

I'm not sure what happened to the "unofficial" FEDREC status board that had been periodically updated with scroll status' but it seems to have been retired, missing, or removed. In any case, please feel free to use this new thread to ask questions and post updates to our little '"Promotion Purgatory Support Group". I do not work for NGB so I will not be able to get you answers, but at least we can re-establish the forum.

Once your orders are published, come back and make a new response to the original post with your scroll number, date your FEDREC was sent to NGB and the date your orders published.
If we get more people to post, the data gets more reliable and useful. You can then see if your scroll is an outlier and you can raise a flag with your command.
I'm sure people come by and read these posts without adding to the discord. Join the community and help the next person!

Can’t seem to find the thread regarding P41-23. Just checked Self Service and it’s still at 0 days awaiting HQDA, but I saw some other posts that it was already with OSD.

As of 08/15/23 its Awaiting scrolling and DoD approvals; List ID P37-23; 0 Days in DoD Approval cycle. Its been here for about 8 weeks. Our S1 is occupied in dual hat duties. So at the mercy of the system or hopefully someone here who knows something.

For those that are curious. I was on scroll 29-23. My promotion order posted this morning with an effective date of 14 July 2023. If you were on that scroll this is something you should be seeing soon with a similar back date.

I'm on P29-23 and it updated this morning as, Published: SO# 250, 2023-08-03. Nothing beyond that. this was as of 0925 central time this morning. So maybe we will see something this week.

UPDATE #2 - So I am on vacation and did not look yesterday. Apparently the change for 26-23 was yesterday. I just got my fedrec, dated 9 August with DOR of 2 August.
I first hit the tracker on 18 April 2023 published 10 August 2023. Heck of a lot better than the 330 days it too last time.

P25-23 is in the same boat. Showing 0 still. We hit T10 orders in a few weeks. I really hope it's published before then. This is worse than last time (2018).

NYS OPM says an ABCMR will not delay our promotion scroll and not to worry that they are publishing out of order.... For what that's worth.

LTC (Join to see) I figured as much, from what I've seen they've moved some folks off of their original lists rather than hold up the process. If its at OSD, it won't be long. Just gotta sit tight.

LTC (Join to see) Right. The ABCMR won’t affect the publishing of orders. But I don’t think that the results of it will affect anyone else’s date of rank unless they submit an ABCMR as well. They didn’t have any precedence on this, so I assume I’m the first one to ask if we could actually use the new law that allows us to ask that case out in January. It’s odd that no one has asked in 8 months. The only qualifier to ask for the backdate is your scroll taking over 100 days from the time NGB received the packet.

LTC (Join to see) And to be honest, I didn’t ask for a case to be opened. I just pointed out the new law and asked if it applied. NGB replied stating they will open an ABCMR and they are going to start work on the PPOM to define what date starts the process. Sounds more like they knew this would happen and just waited for someone to call them on it before they got to work.

CW3 (Join to see) - They haven't published yet. It's been more than 100 days since the packet has been sent to NGB, so I inquired about the process. The fact that NGB is trying to figure out what they need to do to determine what constitutes as "received the FEDREC packet" and starting the ABCMR process doesn't' change anything DoD is doing with our scrolls. The only long term fix will have to happen from inside the organization. The only affect we can have on that would be to submit a ton of ABCMRs as a sign that we care that the process is broken. I'm not trying to be an activist here, I'm just sharing what I've learned.

My situation is "At NGB; List ID P27-23; 0 Days in DoD Approval cycle." It has been like that since the end of March.
