TSgt Joe C., here's why I'm for the Boston Red Sox! In 1943, my father, Jack Curlee, graduated from college while playing varsity baseball for three years. He signed with the Roanoke Red Sox of the now defunct Piedmont League (B) and played for half a season in center field before being called into the Navy on July 1, 1943. The manager was Hall of Famer Heinie Manush. Yogi Berra played for the Norfolk Tars in the same league at the same time, although they never met.
Naturally, my father always pulled for the Boston Red Sox, so I'll do the same!

Yes. I have the DVD series. Pretty good research with some minor flaws, and a couple of critical omissions. Otherwise, 8.5 out of 10 from my perspective. Yes, do try to find "61*". It would be worth ordering it for your DVD library.
