While they are humorous SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL, it reminds me that my first wife served me a no-contact order while I had my first heart catheterization at Fairfax Cardiology in May 1995. She divorced me and went on to marry two other men in succession. She ended up marry five men and is alone now.
By God's grace I was introduced to my forever wife on October 8, 1999 and we were married on December 11, 1999. The next year I was promoted to LTC and the following year I was mobilized back to active duty following the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001.
This post reminds me of your earlier musical post about Tears for Fears. Getting a dear John letter is horrible but over time God takes the sting out of it.
I truly hope no more of my friends ever have to go through a divorce.

Mine would be different, I was a PFC in the 92nd MP Co and the other MP from 527 MP Co was a SPC (I didn't know until later he had a break in service and that was why he was a SPC) and he kept telling this story about a case he helped work on. I didn't believe him and he even brought a couple other MP's to back him up, and they all agreed he was helping this case. Don't be a Jody. Life is rather short when you get caught.
