I hope not. I hope that we can get back on track to eliminating the vestiges of slavery and racism. We had made a lot of progress until he came along. His race baiting was nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to cover up his incompetence and missteps. Anyone who complained is a racist? It would be laughable if it weren't so tragic and destructive.

One of my problems with Obama is as I consider pulled out the black card. What about his mother and her family. He is of mixed race and he should have used that to bring the different races together. I feel his actions have caused more problems than done good.

Well said TSgt Dawn Premock, he did none of that. I think he set race relations in this country backwards a hundred years.

No human being, even a POTUS, forever changes any group IMHO COL Charles Williams. He may have inspired some and angered others since he tended to be more a divider even though he had significant speaking skill. Ronald Reagan was a great communicator while Barack Obama may well go down in history as a pontificator who was long-winded but short on achieving anything great of substance.
POTUS Obama has been haunted by the Camp David peace accords between President of Egypt Anwar el-Sadat Israel's prime minister Menachem Begin that POTUS Carter helped bring about. Obama longed for international success especially after the hollow Nobel Peace Prize he "won."
Thanks for mentioning me SMSgt Minister Gerald A. "Doc" Thomas
