Betrayal. The hard choice option would have been to give them some notice; not ask them to pull out their defenses with the promise that we will defend them and then turn around and abandon them without notice a month later.

This guy advances from a false premise. No one is supporting a "forever military presence", so he launches from a straw-man fallacy and goes from there. There are ways to do things, and what Trump did to the Kurds is not the way to do it. Making a snap decision with no internal coordination or planing immediately after getting off the phone with the president of Turkey and putting our people into that situation in not how to Commander and Chief. Of course I suppose this is expected from Trump supporting YouTubers with no skin in the game.
