I pray that each parent is committed and involved in the health and medical treatment of their children. The pain of children can test the patience of parents. I pray that the spouses are being drawn together as the children are sick, lethargic and sleepless or exhausted.
I pray for courage of conviction for each parent to stand up for their children’s health in the risk of Coronavirus infection.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters comprehends endurance and perseverance in the face of fear, unemployment, short-term separation and longer-term separation based on deployments.

Good Monday morning my friend COL Mikel J. Burroughs
Endure Day is an intriguing focus.
1. "They that endure to the end, the same shall be saved" [Matthew 24:13] came readily to mind.
2. After the LORD told me "Be Still and See the Salvation of the LORD: three times throughout the day of Monday, June 17, 2013, I have endured through
a. termination after 20 years of employment at LMI as the Affordable Care Act was implemented on July 1, 2013;
b. being evicted from our home in June 2014 and losing most of our possessions - downsizing;
c. moving in with my mother-in-law to care for her after her husband of 60 years had died in June 2014;
d. after my adopted-son's wife left him and the veteran sharing the home with him was murdered in the home, he moved back to live with us in 2016 with a pit bull, bulldog and some fish.
e. after my lumbar laminectomy in July 2019 recovering has been challenging.

"As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.
