Good morning Col Burroughs. The war is won by those who persevere. So many people give up just before they are successful. Most successful businesses, inventions, etc take trial and error. If you give up too quickly, you leave the possibility of success on the table to be picked up by someone else. The same is true when developing a good habit or breaking a bad one.

I expect that you like me have persevered many times through challenges, testing, injuries, diseases, and slights/insults over the decades. Thankfully, the LORD treats us like sons and daughters. HE disciplines each us accordingly through sanctification since HE loves each of us. ‘My son do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him. For the Lord disciplines the one he loves and chastises every son [daughter] whom he receives.’ It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. I have to work on a small but important home project this morning, so I'll be back shortly to fully respond... I have taken a pause on my home project, so here goes:
