Fairfax County Public Schools, once seen as the top have taken a dive...student scores are down. They stopped focusing on the important things and this is the result.

It's NOT Just Texas Or Any One Particular State,
The Studies Are All Very Similar; 13 Years Of Studying,
They're Handed A Diploma ~ And Still Aren't Trained Well Enough To Actually DO Anything.
THOUGHT: ~ K-12 : Upon Completion Of The 6Th GRADE, Which Addition Subjects Were The Norm, Which Provided Us Adequate Training To Qualify For Any Manner Of Employment ?

Agree. A high school diploma should mean competence in job-required skills. It should not be just a meaningless piece of engraved paper.

MAJ Hugh Blanchard -
As Many Already Know, I Never Completed The 9th Grade In Public Schools,
But I AM However, Fairly Well Educated Thanks To All The FREE Education
I Received During My 4 Years Enlistment In The USAF & The United States Armed Forces Institute. Without The USAF, I Have NO Idea What I'd Be Doing For A Living ~~ But Here's A Hint:~ "Will You Please Pass Me That Toilet Brush"? ~ And THAT Would Be About "IT". ~~ THANKS USAF; You're Very Much Appreciated By THIS Flunky ~~
