It is the Democrat way - make rules that suit their needs/agendas and force everyone to kneel before them.

Thank you my friend MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. for making us aware that on January 1, 2021 the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Rules Committee Chairman James P. McGovern (D-MA) laid out the rules for the incoming 117th US House of Representatives.
Although the section titles have lofty titles and sound noble

Caveat it is challenging to find any videos that are not biased towards radical progressives

The Democratic rules package includes the following changes:
1. It prioritizes ethics and accountability in the People’s House.
a. The first set of changes seems reasonable on its face to me with the exception of make it a violation of the Code of Official Conduct for a Member, Delegate, Resident Commissioner, officer, or employee of the House to disseminate manipulated media, including photos and videos, known as “deepfakes;”
2. It aligns Congress’ agenda with the priorities of the American people.
a. Establishing a Select Committee on Economic Disparity and Fairness in Growth seems strange since economic disparity is a fact of life and fairness in growth is a fools errand. No doubt they envision redistribution of wealth through excessive taxation. :-(
b. I had to chuckle at establishing a Select Committee on the Climate Crisis. Where else would a crisis deserve a select committee :-) True crises need to be solved not studied.
3. It creates a more accommodating process for ideas to be considered.
a. Unsurprisingly the reinstatement of 'temporary changes that enable remote voting by proxy and virtual committee work so Congress can continue its work as safely as possible during the coronavirus pandemic' indicates they realize Joe Biden will not solve COVID if is he is instated as POTUS.
b. I expect that the shift in densities of Republican and Democrat representatives necessitates the goal to 'preserve and reform the Motion to Recommit so this tool meant to improve bills is no longer used to hijack the legislative process for political gamesmanship"
4. It promotes inclusion and diversity.
a. Political correctness run amuck, [changing pronouns and familial relationships in the House rules to be gender neutral] as expected "require standing committees to include in their oversight plans a discussion of how committee work over the forthcoming Congress will address issues of inequities on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, or national origin; honor all gender identities by changing pronouns and familial relationships in the House rules to be gender neutral;'
b. Typical radicalized liberal mandate that expert testimony be provided by diverse groups of people [Animal Farm - pigs testify about horse life experience, cats testify about mice pain, etc] "make permanent the Office of Diversity and Inclusion to facilitate a diverse workforce that is reflective of our Members and the districts they represent; and survey the diversity of witness panels at committee hearings to ensure we are hearing from diverse groups of experts as we craft legislation."
5. It embraces technology to make the House of Representatives function as efficiently as possible.
