President Biden has no idea the 2nd and 3rd order of effects of cancelling the pipeline. Prime Minister Trudeau put billions of dollars down to guarantee the pipeline to be a feasible thing. The province of Alberta did the same thing. Both are now stuck with the bag and I am sure that Prime Minister Trudeau had to bite his tongue congratulating President Biden. Here is how the money would have been spent to bailout broke ass mismanaged Liberal province (Just like the mismanaged States in the US). The Keystone XL pipeline approval would have helped mitigate this.

It's not our place to bail our Alberta. There are reasons for concern over the pipeline, and American Indians were against the pipeline for environmental reasons. The United States should heed their objections well before we consider what Canada wants.
