Thank you my friend Lt Col Charlie Brown for reminding us that on July 17, 1996 TWA Boeing 747 jetliner flight 800 exploded over the Atlantic ocean shorting after taking off from New York’s Kennedy International Airport.

I still think it was a missile. Even a practice round would have capable of tearing a commercial plane from the sky.
