1. Every president has knowledge they can never share outside specific authorizations and need to know. There were many obvious military threats - North Korea, Iran, China, radical Islam in middle east, north Africa and Sahel Africa.
2. No doubt there were other significant threats including cyberterrorism which became prominent.
3. During the final 18 months of the Trump administration many Arab states made peace with Israel, acknowledged the right of Israel to exist and normalized relations with Israel.
4. In December 2020, Morocco followed Bahrain, Sudan and the United Arab Emirates in setting aside generations of hostilities toward the Jewish state
After He assumed the office of POTUS, Joe Biden changed the focus of Middle Eastern policy to resemble the Obama foreign policy [or lack of coherent foreign policy] It seems POTUS Biden is trying to develop a coherent foreign policy even while sending mixed signals to allies and enemies alike.

President Trump met with his senior military staff and said they would discuss IS, Iran, and North Korea over dinner then he called a group photo with his staff and their spouses, `the calm before the storm' without an explanation. (Oct. 5, 2017)
