Buffalo's Black community is reeling after being targeted by a mass shooting

On Saturday, a shooter targeted shoppers at the only Black-run grocery store in Buffalo, New York. Ten people were killed and three were injured. Eleven of the victims were African American.
The racist attack left residents of Buffalo and America reeling but has especially shaken the city’s Black population.
“We want deep history to be taught, for the truth be told, and all of this racism to stop,” jazz promoter Denise McMichael-Houston told The Guardian.
Reporter Edward Helmore also spoke to her cousin, educator Ellen Lucas, who said, “The problem is that they will not teach accurate history in schools. I have lived in this city 72 years and everything here is racist. We have this one supermarket.”

Here is how it goes currently in America especially with the radical right.
Shooter is Mexican - Build the wall, keep the immigrants out.
Shooter is Middle Eastern - The terrorist have got to be stopped.
Shooter is Black - BLM, criminals, rap music, etc.
Shooter is white - We have failed our youth and need to get better with mental health. Let's figure out where we went wrong.

They think that way because none of these people live in their small rural towns. You can still go to some places in America where a white person's never met a minority sadly. When these people also try to move into their said communities they do everything to keep them out the same way the wealthy try to keep the poor away. I know where I grew up the locals treated people differently. If you were black and had a nice job oh you weren't really black you were white washed really black people live in those hoods. When you'd see the Hispanics away from the fields you'd think oh wait are they involved in MS13? Keep an eye on them. When you see middle eastern you'd automatically assume they owned the local gas station, mini-mart, and or Dunkin Donuts. Yet they seem oblivious to how troubled or problematic the local white trash moonshine community is or can be.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff most of these towns were corporate towns that died when the industry dried up and the stragglers stay behind. These bumpkins are so impervious to change. People say can't take in migrants or immigrants yet areas such as this are so close to dead that migration to them would be like shocking someone back to life. It continues to bug me to this very day.
