I once had a soldiers accused of getting a girl pregnant in Florida but he was going downrange in Grafenwöhr, Germany. Since we did Border Duty, Pre-Gunnery at Hohenfels then Gunnery at Grafenwöhr, Germany, then return to the East-West German Border - right in the middle time period where she got pregnant in Florida.
Turned out she was his girlfriend but his underage brother had done the deed. It was found out but not before there was an arrest warrant sworn out and sent to the JAG in V Corps.

Soldiers are locked up for drug offenses based on physical evidence, soldiers are also locked up for sexual assault when there is evidence. Like it or not, most sexual assault charges in the military are the classic "He Said / She Said" without evidence.

Today, in any He Said / She Said, we are expected to always believe the woman because all men are misogynistic liars and he is bound to be guilty of something else even if not the case he is charged for. Of course, there are still a handful of old white guys in command of a few army units who haven't gotten the word that all men are automatically guilty.
