This was a very intresting read. I knew that the allied forces consisted of several countries, but it was very intresting to read of the Canadian and Polish army's involvement in the war. Its intresting that in all wars the infantry always gets the shit job. It relies on combat support from all the other military forces but it is the infantry that has the toughest job. Thanks Dale for another great history lesson. I learn more from you that I ever learned in high school.

How would our current populace react to the casualty rates incurred in WWII, Korea, Viet Nam? My wife and I were discussing yesterday that we have been involved in a military conflict ever since we were born. Why? Is there not a better way or are the powers that rule using war as a business to pad their private coffers.... Maybe a bit of an abstract thought but
