The Population of Chicago is about 2,750,000

So Chicago is for times the size of El Paso, but Chicago is overwhelmed by 1/15th the number of illegal aliens.

2. Was the federal, state or local government providing shelter, food and basic necessities for those who remained in 1968-69?

_Chicago is overwhelmed by 100 illegal aliens and refugee/asylum seekers per day. _Chicago is roughly 4 times the size of El Paso
_El Paso is receiving about 1500 illegal aliens and refugee/asylum seekers per day.
_El Paso is carrying more than its "fair" share unless 1475 of the 1500 illegal aliens and refugee/asylum seekers are returning across the border, back into Mexico. (Umh... yeah... no, they aren't.)

Thanks for a good study to review. All the trash we see posted here on RP with people, trying to support their opinions... It's very refreshing to see a formal study that lists methods of evaluation and assumptions made during an evaluation. One can then have an honest conversation about the topic and accuracies and/or inaccuracies. Great post!
