Canada has 10% of the population of the USA. Canada's future Emissions caps on oil could mean a loss of 50k jobs would roughly translate to about 500k jobs lost in the USA.
Alberta, Canada is the Oklahoma of Canada. Canada has one of the top 5 largest oil reserves in the world and its the only Democracy among the top 5. The other 4 are Russia, Kuwait, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
Canada has 167 Billion barrels of oil reserves.

Biden is going overtime to put new rules and regulations in place in the event Trump wins in November 2024 to prevent going back to Trump's Golden Era of minimal regulations.
Democrats say they are saving the Earth when NPR reported that China builds 2 coal-fired power plants a week. I am sure China does not put coal-soot scrubbers on their power plants.

The oil in northern iraq is high in Sulphur. In Kirkuk, They have five or six locations where they are burning hydrogen sulfide. When I was there in late 2004, the burning Is system failed temporarily and hydrogen sulfide came into the airfield low levels and made me have pneumonia. I must have gotten a cold but the hydrogen sulfide at low levels does irritate the throat and lungs. At higher levels you can't smell it and it's fatal. Is iraq is the top five oil Producers.
I read this yesterday and Engineers are still needed even if stupid president biden wants to get Diesel
and gasoline-powered vehicles by 2035.

Something stupid President Biden refuses to do. President trump will allow oil pipelines and natural gas export terminals. NPR reported last year that Communist China is approving two coal- fired power plants a week. Saving the Earth is not on their agenda; having electric power that is more reliable than hydroelectric, especially in a drought like china is having now.
