Conrad Black: In defence of our brave and honourable Vice-Admiral Mark Norman

Admiral Norman did his duty.
1.The only 2 supply ships in the Canadian Navy were not worth repairing.
2. Conservative Prime Minister Harper approved Admiral Norman's plans to lease a German Supply ship and retrofit it to Canadian/NATO Naval standards.
3. Corrupt Prime Minister Trudeau won and wanted the project cancelled but backed off when it was leaked that a large financial penalty cancelation clause and the Trudeau Government did Lawfare and sent Police to inspect the Admiral's home and a year later charged him of leaking classified information, relieving him of #2 Commamd of Canadian Armed Forces, taking away his free Legal defense (he got $100k in donations for his defense)

4. The supply ship was converted and put into active Royal Canadian Navy Service on time and under budget.
5. Admiral Norman was eventually found not guilty but he had to sign a Non-Disclosure agreement. How convenient!
6. Canada does not have Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency to root out fraud, waste and abuse.
7. Canada's Former Prime Minister Trudeau walked out of Parliament when Admiral Norman was found not guilty. I was in the Chow Hall at Canadian Forces Base Wainright during a 2018 Maple Resolve Exercise when I saw this on Canadian Television.
