Maj William W. 'Bill' Price I am not intricately knowledgeable of Astronomy, but I know what is beautiful. This is a very nice image of Jupiter.

Love that spot. This spot is of course iconic. Also it shows the size of that activity and forces put in place millions of years ago.

When I was a kid...I built a four inch reflecting telescope - A jeweler helped me grind the lens. I did see Jupiter, but not good enough to see the red spot. The guy who helped me build my telescope had a ten inch reflecting telescope in his little domed observatory (Commercial Scope top of the line) and that was the first time I saw the Red Spot And a few of the "bands". But my little four incher sure made the moon a delight to look at.
