Good afternoon my friend CW5 Jack Cardwell and thank you for sharing master fiddler Tashina Clarridge performing "Arkansas Traveler" at the Scott and Anne Sumner's camp Sessions in Weiser in the summer of 2017 during the National Old-time Fiddler's Contest.
"n a toasty Tuesday afternoon a few musician friends shared some shade and a few tunes beneath the three red umbrellas at Scott and Anne Sumner's camp. Tashina kicked things off with one of the most classic fiddle tunes of all time."

Used to be a NPR station in Stockton had a show called “Arkansas Traveler”. I reckon it originAted out of Arkansas and playedon. Stations nationwide

They played a lot of fiddle, other Folk instrumentals, and folk singing..

I enjoyed Tashina Clarridge’s version of Arkansas Traveler, CW5 Jack Cardwell! I can’t play Arkansas Traveler, but I am one!
I was appointed and commissioned an Arkansas Traveler by then Governor Bill Clinton of the State of Arkansas on February 1, 1980!
