Thank you for sharing my friend CW5 Jack Cardwell that British tank sergeant Reg Snowling nicknamed 'Titch' who was 'shortest D-Day hero' at 4ft 11in but blew up TWO Panzers with single shot and sunk TWO Nazi submarines in one blast died at age 97
Reg Snowling was nicknamed Titch in the forces due to his being just 4ft 11in tall
Rest in peace Reg Snowling!

LTC Stephen F. CW5 Jack Cardwell Obviously Height is Not All It is Cracked Up to Be, Being Short is Less Hazardous to Your Health obviously on the Battlefield. Sad to Hear about the Loss of another Living History Book.

Man that's quite a story! I wish I'd have known it sooner! May the Titch Rest In Peace!
