Here's how we win the long game. Those of us with young children-raise them to work their way to success through a viable trade or technical field...rather than the traditional "four year degree" route. Instill traditional values (like respect, honesty, and civility), critical thinking, and plain common sense into them. Teach our sons to stand up for themselves, and anyone weaker around them. Teach our daughters to demand nothing less than a man who will do both. Give it twenty to thirty years...when these thugs are professors, journalists, consultants, politicians and other useless sponges...and need our kid's labor, taxes, and votes. Our grandparents went "soft" on our parents because they didn't want them to suffer like they had through two world wars and a depression. Our parents went "soft" on us because they were misled. We can't go "soft" on our kids; it's up to us.
